We are EPiC, Emergency Preparedness in Communities, Inc.

We are a nonprofit corporation operating within the Woodside Fire Protction District (WFPD).

EPiC manages two programs, WPV-Ready and WPV-CERT.

WPV-Ready is dedicated to building communities of residents who work together to be better prepared for emergencies.

WPV-CERT trains citizen volunteers to respond during emergencies.
When professional responders are overwhelmed, our trained CERT team will be there.

EPiC is funded by donations from the Town of Woodside, the Town of Portola Valley, and the Woodside Fire Protection, as well as grants and public donations.
